Atlanta Tech News is proud to share that the 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta, Inc. will hold its 2020 Virtual Scholarship Celebration on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.

This annual event generates funds for the organization’s flagship mentoring program that includes scholarships and educational opportunities for young men in and around the South Fulton County area.

The title of this year’s event, which is being held virtually due to safety concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic, is “Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence: Developing the Renaissance Man and Service in the Community.”

In the three decades since the creation of the 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta, the organization has seen over 1,500 graduates of its mentoring program, and those mentees have been awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships.
