Leading global cybersecurity management software company, Apptega, welcomes technology industry veteran, Hesom Parhizkar, to its leadership team. As Vice President of Technology and Product, Parhizkar will report to CEO of Apptega, Armistead Whitney.
Mr. Parhizkar will execute the company’s business mission through the development and deployment of Apptega’s market-leading SaaS products and technology, including managing onshore and offshore development teams, leading an agile development and implementation process, and overseeing Apptega’s infrastructure and security.

Parhizkar was previously Chief Technology Officer at Wela, a SaaS technology company building intelligent solutions for financial services companies allowing them to enhance internal communication and efficiencies, while extending the client experience beyond client portals. As CTO, Hesom oversaw the development of the company’s long-term vision, specifically with regards to strategy and the overall standard for the architecture of the technology.
Prior to Wela, Hesom served as Senior Vice President of Technology at eVestment, where he helped lead the overall technology strategy, architecture, and goals for their global SaaS product offerings. Parhizkar also served as Software Development Manager and Scrum Master at eVestment, where he led the deployment of products with his expertise in agile development methodologies.
