The paucity of court records research terminals has been a chronic factor in slow turn-around times and general lack of people-data access required to make informed hiring, tenancy and career advancement decisions. Cook County has historically provided only 37 public records access terminals, a number that grossly underserves one of the most populous regions of Illinois. As a result of InformData’s efforts, Cook County has agreed to nearly double that count adding 30 new terminals in the coming weeks.
